Helping Communities and Animals After Hurricane Helene
Helping Communities and Animals After Hurricane Helene
When Hurricane Helene swept through South Carolina and neighboring states, it left a path of destruction affecting both people and animals. At All Paws on Deck, we responded quickly, providing essential supplies and financial support to organizations working on the front lines to care for affected pets and families.
We donated a large amount of vital supplies, including soap, to the Deep Well Project, helping more than 250 families recover after the hurricane. The Deep Well Project has long been a lifeline for the local community, offering everything from food to emergency assistance. After the hurricane, their efforts were more critical than ever, and our contribution helped them meet the increased demand for support. For those interested in helping, Deep Well is always in need of volunteers and donations.
In addition to supplying physical goods, we also provided financial donations to several animal rescue organizations that played a crucial role in rescuing and caring for animals displaced by the storm. These groups offered medical care, shelter, and foster services to animals in need, ensuring they had the resources to continue their lifesaving work.
One of the organizations we supported is Brother Wolf Animal Rescue (Asheville, NC), which tragically lost its shelter during Hurricane Helene. Despite this setback, Brother Wolf remains dedicated to helping animals in need. If you’d like to support their recovery efforts, you can donate or get involved as a foster or volunteer by visiting their website: Brother Wolf Animal Rescue.
Other organizations we supported include:

While our donations helped these organizations in the aftermath of the storm, there is still much work to be done. We encourage others to get involved and support these wonderful organizations. Whether it’s through donations, fostering, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, every effort helps animals in need.
